It's not ready to change yet I'm just wondering for when it is cuz honda clutch get mushy
Spongy pedal? The clutch material isn't mushy.. So I'm guessing something else is going on?
On most FWD you have to remove the half shaft, transmission, change the trans fluid. It can be a pain.
Regarding clutch brands, the "best" changes every couple years. On many forums people go from worn out stock to shitty aftermarket and then tout the aftermarket as the be all end all..... But it's not like people are trying 3-4 clutches over the life of the car.
If it were me, I would try to stick with honda or the OEM for them. If the SI verified 100% fits then I would go with that. I got burned by a high end aftermarket clutch on an se-r 15-20 years ago. Spent all weekend swapping it, and got a bad throw out bearing out of the box.
A clutch is a little different from brakes or plugs or whatever. If you don't like your brakes it's a couple hour swap. But a FWD clutch is a major PITA. It's not worth risking your time messing with questionable parts.
