I tried using this on the 6800OC bundle today and got shot down. I thought about just using it on the 6800GT but decided I can wait for a better deal once HL2 comes out.

The coupon will work with just one video card, but if you do the bundle it will not work. I was so close, I saw the price after the 10% and the guy working the register had no cluye what was going on, but they said that I could either do one or the other.

i love best buy! why?... i bought a BFG GT on 8/20 for reg. price, including taxes = $430.99 took the receipt and the 10% off coupon to the CS and asked if i could use this coupon on this purchase. they didnt ask any questions, the lady at the CS just made a return, then a repurchase with the coupon and credited $42.90 to my cc. and i bought this 15 days ago! i guess i just got lucky, but you guys should try, if u made a big purchase recently. btw this BB is in Bloomingdale, IL, but bought it in the store in Auroro, IL, which means...if one BB doesnt do this, you can always try at another. best of luck! :thumbsup:

oh i got this 10% off coupon in the mail, so this not the online one.so maybe thats why it worked. sorry if i got your hopes up.

wouldn't say that about them. some things yeah are worse but for things like the video cards, at least they sell them for MSRP and don't gouge... so in that respect they are a good buy

and BB in Downer's Grove,IL actually had a stack of these online coupons printed and put it on a table near the entrance for customers.

A lot of these coupons are coming out at different times at different places, except for this weekend since its Labor Day. Also usually 10% off coupons require a best buy card sign up, but not this one.

Update - I got the 10% on the BFG 6800GT. Was 359.99, I used a 75 GC, after tax I paid 318.29...

Also got the GT OC with the coupon. No problems.

I handed the cashier the card, he scanned it. I handed him the coupon (I'd printed it from a color laser and he was very impressed). He scanned it. The screen showed "preferred customer $0.00", but no discount was applied. He hit a button to take off a certain percent, keyed in "10", hit enter, and that was that.

EDIT: This was the last one on the shelf at the Galleria in Cambridge, MA.

What i did do was hand 3 of them out to people I saw walking around in the TV department.


Me "Are you buying a TV today?"

Them:"Yep was looking at getting this DLP"

Me "Well here is a coupon for 10% off"

Them "Thanks million buddy!"
