The $5 doesn't apply to all GBA games, only ones $39.99 or more. So that means after shipping, you get a $40 GBA game for $35.

I think if you try to use it on a lower priced game it'll work. I've added some games under $25 and amazon asks if i want to use my $5 off. It's possible that I have some other promo in my cart that I don't even know about but as far as I know these are the only two that should appear. But as you say if you can't use both coupons than it's effectively just free shipping on the game so it's best used on something that's decently priced over $35 or 39.99 whatever the case may be.
