No, all of your data was NOT deleted. We provided you with a FULL backup of your site when you decided to come into our live chat room and tell us that after 4 years you were unhappy, had no backups of your own and confirm that you hadn't paid in a year - but still wanted to host with us.

I'm VERY confused. But thank you for the warning that you were coming here to make this post.

#3 You "just canceled"? You mean you canceled when Hostpc realized you haven't actually paid them in like 6 months? And then you start whining and bitching and the owner gets fed up with your crap and tells you "buh bye"?

#4 You canceled before getting a backup?

Do you know of any place that charges a monthly fee, but still gives you service if you dont pay for it? If you do, please let me know.

No. This had been paid for, and I have paypal reciepts to prove it.

Nice try on the owner to try to slam a customer.

Btw, IF I hadnt been paying (I have), what does that say about your billing department?

A "FULL" backup of my sql information would have included: User Information, Billing Details, Product Listings, etc. You gave me a 1k sql file, and you said that was all you had backed up.


What kinda webhost only information backed up for 24 hours?

When you asked in the helpdesk for ANOTHER backup - which, after we verified the first one DOES have the 2MB file you're looking for, we asked you, nicely, to open a helpdesk ticket and a fresh copy would be completed (all 152 files) that you don't have backed up yourself. When you DID open the ticket, your comment was "with this you can go f**k yourself" ... Did you want us to help you?

As for the billing, I will not get into particulars here in the public forum, but in a public chat, with other customers around, you yourself posted:

Those were your payment dates (they should have been monthly). As you can see, there's quite a gap in your payment history. (For the record, I never even considered "not paying" as a reason not to assist you - the only reason I looked was to offer you a refund, or credit to your account for the inconvenience you incurred.) Yes, our billing department missed your non-payments - it happens, occasionally, especially with customers that were migrated from the old billing system.

Now, even after your "go F**k yourself comment, ANOTHER copy of your database is available, if you'll ask for it like an adult, via our helpdesk system.

Yes, btw, for those keeping track, the database that was worth thousands of dollars? it consisted of exactly 2MB of data.

Not to rehash this, but this is the last time I am dealing with this issue with you and your company. Those "payment dates" above, are dates that "I" listed in your IRC support, where I REQUESTED HELP and they went IGNORED. Those are NOT payment dates. Why dont YOU POST THE ENTIRE UNEDITED TRUTHFUL CHAT LOG? I stated seconds after that, that those dates were SOME OF THE DATES I REQUESTED HELP DIRECTLY FROM YOU At Joe@hostpc.com and they were IGNORED. The same EMAIL ADDRESS YOU USE to send out information and have replied from before! If those were payment dates, why would I tell you the dates I paid knowing I didnt make payments and not lie and give you a day in every month? THOSE ARE NOT PAYMENT DATES. I pay PER YEAR, I do not pay monthly on things if I dont have to, PER YEAR.

"ANOTHER COPY" of my database is available? Why dont you post the part of the chat log where you said "this is the only copy we have, we only keep backups for 24 hours." You did not ask me to open up a ticket until right before you banned me, you asked for my email address and said the database would be sent in 152 individual emails.

And nice defimation of character with your comments making up lies about what was and wasnt said. I never said above what you stated.

I am done with this childish bickering and your unprofessional business. I just came here to write a review of what I thought of my experience with your business, and you have done nothing but select parts of a chat log and put words in my mouth without showing the entire picture, posted personal information about myself (so was said in another thread, I did not see this personally) and just showed how unprofessional you are to your customers when they have an issue with your service and will say anything for a dime.

Being denied turned out to be a blessing in disguise--run from this guy--his credibility is ZERO.

So far I am pleased but I am used to my old cpanel where I could easily see where hits were coming from, I have not figured this out yet in this system

What I would do is deal with this person in a professional manner and stay that way even after he didn't. This is the reason you will never have my business and many others here on AT from what I have read.
