$10 Star Trek Elite Force 1 with ST Armada 1 - 2 (GoGamer)

www.gogamer.com 48-hour madness, $9.90 for Star Trek Action Pack (ST Elite Force 1 + expansion, ST Armada 1 & 2). I just finished playing Elite Force and it was a pretty fun shooter. Nothing Earth-shattering, but worth $10, and Armada is supposed to be a decent RTS-Lite.

They also have the Half-Life 1 Platinum collection for $17.90 and the bad-reviews RPG Lionheart for $14.90.

I have bought with them before. They have good deals once in a while if you get the 48 hour mailing list. Lionheart sounds good for $15. It is from the makers of Balder's Gate. I have also seen a lot of bad reviews, but they compare it more to Diablo than BG. I don't have the time to get into a game with a heavy story and need a quick pickup game.

My local Wal Mart had Star Trek Deep Space Nine - Dominion Wars and Star Trek Deep Space Nine - The Fallen in a two pack that was marked at $3.75. This appeared to be a reduced price sticker, so YMMV. Also have no idea as to how good either of these may be.

Just an FYI: IIRC most reviewers rated Elite Force pretty highly. I think PC Gamer called it the "first Star Trek game that didn't suck," and actually gave it a pretty high rating. I really liked it myself. It's based on a modified Quake 3 engine and looks pretty darn good.

Also, Gogamer has some pretty good "special" deals if you create an account and log in.
