I'm back!!

Finished my walk/run program and had my first slow, steady run yesterday. Keeping on top of my stretches and exercises. So far so good.

Sorry I've been incommunicado so much lately, guys. I've been busier than hell with my jobs and planning for the wedding. I've done 137 miles since I last posted, including a sweet 4x mile workout where every mile was under my official mile PR. Got some races coming up that I have high expectations for. And hey, would you look at this total??? Great job everyone!!!!!!!!!!

SURE ENOUGH!!
You guys must be psychic.

Damn, that took us a year and a half. Maybe we should invite some ATOTers to join us and boost the input.

Welcome back to IB and Scorch. It's good that y'all returned in time to see us hit the mark. IB, what say you up the goal? 100K?

I like that actually. It's pretty ambitious, but doable. I imagine we're moving faster now than at the beginning.

Another crappy week for me due to foot injury, just 29. However yesterday I was able to do a 30k mostly pain free, so I think I can resume regular running now.

I was thinking of finally particpating in this since my actual full training started on Sunday (signed up for a 10K on Thanksgiving then a half in November [my first one since June]), but I really have no way to determine mileage, I generally just go by time. :hmm: Anyway, I've subscribed and will try to figure something out.

Good luck everyone! :awe:

shorty, you know you can do both right? I run (alot), bike, swim, lift, and stretch. If I can fit yoga in I will.

Keith - use www.mapmyruns.com - it uses Google Maps as the backend for the actual mapping piece, but allows you to actually plot your course and runs from start --> end. I still use it even though I have a Garmin - let's me map out new routes for some of my odd/bizarre 10-13 mile mid-week runs.

Thanks, but the domain does not look to be up and running. :hmm:

Something like that sounds like it would be useful.
