This made me chuckle. Lowly. haha...I'm just a lowly road whore!
I have those runs every once in a while. What I like is when I head out for a run that I think is going to be like this one but actually turns out to be a great run. I guess it goes both ways, eh?I had a huge workout planned today; 16 miles with 4 miles at MP, 3 miles at LT, 2 miles at 10K and 1 mile at 5K like I did a fee weeks ago. Totally blew it today though; ended up doing 3 miles at 10 seconds slower than MP feeling like I was doing 10K pace so I said screw it and just jogged 14 miles feeling like 10 pounds of crap in a 5 pound bag. still a nice 18 mile day though!
I sure hope so, Mega! But you're still an ultra-marathoner and I'm just a lowly road whore! I also did 8 miles on Monday and 13 on Tuesday for another 39 to add.

MP - marathon paceScorch, for the not so savvy...
what does it mean 4 miles at MP and 3 miles at LT?
MP - marathon pace
LT - maybe long tempo pace? lactate threshold?
Truth of the matter: Scorch is far more scientific about his training than I am. He's the real deal.
