8.5 miles on Saturday (rounded down on Tuesday so will round up this time), 6 miles on Sunday, and 14 miles today. Felt tired all day so I wasn't sure how it would go, especially since I had planned to do this yesterday but just wasn't feeling it. It was cold and very very windy when I started, and was snowing quite heavily. The wind whipped the snow all over me so I was covered with a layer of white about an inch thick and I couldn't feel my face. This lasted for about 6 miles, then the wind died down and it became quite pleasant actually! There was a layer of snow on the ground just thick enough to provide traction; it was the kind of snow that squeaks and crunches underfoot. The flakes in the air and the low-hanging clouds reflected the lights from the city so the whole area was awash in a diffuse orange glow. I stopped to pee twice, and noticed after the second time that my leg hairs had little clumps of snow on them and I could feel them bouncing with every stride. I started to feel really good about 7 or 8 miles in and was rolling for most of the second half of the run. I actually felt like I'm getting back in shape for a little bit!!
