Beast! Nice job. I envy those who make it look easy. Where are you currently training? How's the weather? I'd kill for some 50 degree weather!
It's good to see the old timers posting again. I wonder how IB is doing?
I just got back from an easy 12 miler on a smooth trail. This is the longest I've run since I suffered through the Finger Lakes 50s, but it's not long enough. I am about 95% sure I'll be pacing a fellow from MA at Virgil Crest 100 and I have to be ready for a long, slow 50 miles that night. But the good news is that my IT band feels completely healed up.
Y'all have a great day.

Almost done the walk/run program and I've only put on 10 lbs as a result of the injury . Just had to check in and see when it's time to move the goalposts again.
Good to hear you're healthy and trucking along...and you get to be a rabbit! Cool!
I got an email last night from my RWOL buddy who is doing Virgil Crest 100 and it's official - I'm pacing him this year. I thought it was cool before and now I'm a bit nervous. This is going to be one hell of a ride.
I will only be pacing, not crewing. So I should be able to sleep in my car while I wait for him to get to the aid station he'll be picking me up at.While that puts some pressure on you to perform, it should be a comfortable amount slower than the 50-miler that you ran right? Are you crewing him the whole way (ie will you be sleep deprived) or will you be able to rest before and after your section?
Today I squeezed a 7 miler in this afternoon and then had to go to my daughter's cheerleading parent/coach meeting. So much fun. My 7 miler was supposed to be 10, but my son and I ran across two young ladies on the trail and one of them had their chain jump off both the back and front sprockets. The chain was stuck and wouldn't go back on. I spent 30 minutes trying to fix it and got sooo greasy and never could get the chain right. Bummer.
