I opened a joint account with my dad. Does anyone know if joint accounts have survivorship, I didn't see a check box for it? I called up and the CS person had no clue what that was.

If it's a joint account either one can have access to it right? If so then I don't think you need to worry about what would happen if something happened to either one of you. Or are you asking something else?

I'm worried that if one of us dies, half of the assets would get split into the estate instead of going all to the surviving person, which is the intent of the account.

If people are reporting getting $100 then it must be from signing up a few months ago, as I did, when the deal was $100. It takes a few months for the cash to post to the account.
