Pretty much everybody sells the 360 and its accessories for the same price. It's just the extra deals adding games and gift cards such as this, that make it worth your while. I'm getting a 360 this Christmas and this is the best deal I can find. I plan on spending the gift card on another wireless controller and Gears of War.

they would probably give you the gift card if you go to customer service, you can't do the suggestion above because I think they get the serial of the XBOX, you have to return the same one that you bought.

you can probably just return the opened one also if they won't just give you the gift card, i'm pretty sure they take returns up to 30 days at least.

Any good light wieght party games on the 360? I'm thinking along the lines of Fussion Frenzy (from XBOX), Mario Party (GCN), or Wario Ware (GCN).

Maybe it will tide over the appitite till Wii is more readily available.

Don't people get it? If M$ lowers the actual price of the 360, not only does it make them reneg on their previous statements that there is no price drop in sight, but it also lowers the perceived value of the 360 in comparison to the PS3, and other products. Lowering the price of your hardware when it is only 1 year old makes you look weak in the face of competition. You skirt this issue by having a lot of rebate/gift card/addon deals through specific vendors. You move extra systems by sweetening the deal, while maintaining perceived value among the general public. Its a great time to be getting a 360.

Fusion Frenzy 2 is supposed to come out on 1/30/07. No guarantee of that though. There are plenty of Xbox Live Arcade games that are a blast though.
