100 Imation Floppy discs 3.5" 1.44mb $9.94 B&M and MIR

I noticed that the weekly post for the Staples add by Hawkeye didn't include this little deal.

Staples has a 100 pack of Imation Floppy disks for $9.97 after a $10 instant off and a $10.00 MIR from Imation.

It's not like you use a ton of these, but they are handy for little things here and there.

These disks have a lifetime warranty!

At this price? $10 for 100 disks? It's pretty much a wash compared to CDR's in general. I'm suprised I ever use them, but I do sometimes (boot disks, system files, etc...).

what i want to know is what floppies are the best... mine always go bad after like 6-8 months of just sitting there. its a pain when you actually go ti use them..cause you system crached.. and they dont werk......also...other then an emergency boot disk what other things do yuo use these for? as in during booting

Hrmmm...1) WTF uses floppies anymore... I can't remember the last time I used a floppy...but then again I'm a rare breed. and 2) The AOL floppies, when they still gave them away, worked wonders...I still use them today...err I guess that negates my first point but oh well..

By the way, my parents in law have a digital camera that uses floppys as film, so there are other uses for these too.

interesting...might stock up on these for the heck of it. buy 2 packs for $40, then use a 10off40 coupon, making it $5 a piece after MIR. Sweet

That's a good point. The MIR is good for 3 100 packs too.

The camera's that use the floppy disks can hold like 20 picutres each on them. That's cheaper than film by a long shot. $.10 per roll
