$100-ish Linux laptop?

I'm looking to grab a cheap laptop in the $100-$200 on which to run Linux, probably OpenSUSE, and curious if anyone has recommendations in this range. Newegg has a Thinkpad X201 refurb for $120 that looked tempting. This seems like a common Linux machine, and I can always toss an SSD in it if need be, but I'm worried that an eight-year-old CPU might feel kinda slow these days. I'm also interested in the Pinebook but the waitlist for that is like months long.

I bought

Acer Aspire One D270 (2012) 10.1", Atom N2600 $40
Acer Aspire One ZG5 (2008) 8.9", Atom N270 $30

Both with 1gb ram so I added a 3gb linux-swap partition on the hard drive in case you go over, and running Slacko Puppy Linux (based on slackware 14.0) loaded in ram. I like their small size and they're fast enough for me, an old Core2Duo era laptop will run circles around them though if you want faster.

Will be curious to know what you ended up with and how you're enjoying it

Thinkpads do run Linux pretty well. I'm actually running Ubuntu 17.10 on an el cheapo 15.6" Toshiba Satellite C55 that can be had for well under $200 though. Certainly recommend SSD for whatever you end up going with.
