Mini-cdrw are as bad as regular cdrw. Your drive needs to be really clean, you need top of the line discs to get more than 100 writes. I've had cdrws fail on me after 10-20 writes before. You get what you pay for.

Same here... Lite-On and Plextor never failed with CDRW...

I think he was referring to re-writes on the same CD-RW disc, not the quantity of CD-RW discs..

(I don't use RW's enough to have ever re-written the same disc more than a half dozen or so times, so can't state an opinion either way)

that's a lot of minis. i bought 10 cd-r and 10 mini cd-rw and can't use them at all! all are sitting there, but i sure like them still

can anyone tellme if what is shown on the top is printed on the writing surface
of all the CDR's? if it is, where the heck do they expect you to write what's on
the CD? I'm not interested in printing labels for each one of these.

I doubt that's on every CD. If you look, it says "100 PK" on there. Why would each CD say "100 pack" on it?

I've heard horrible stories about KHypermedia CD's, and particularly DVD+R/DVD+RW media... this stuff has a burn success rate of about 25% or less... I would highly advise against buying this stuff

i've used K-Hypermedia CDRs and have nothing but praise for them. they're reliable and good. My burn success rate is close to 100% and the times it did mess up was my fault for running a program that froze my computer.

dont have a dvd burner so i dont know much about the DVD+R/DV+RW stuff.

I've had no problem with the +RWs on my DRU500AX. Burns at 2x, and plays beutifully on my Norcent 300DP
