Which market segment are those Quadro FX 1400 cards are popular in? Are they used for gaming? Or mostly for graphics/video processing and design, engineering etc.?

How about deals on Nvidia Cards... with the upcoming release of G70 series cards, G6600 and G6800 should begin dropping by now... Actually NewEgg has already posted the ASUS 6600GT for only $175 few days ago which was an awsome deal! But 6800GTs should begin dropping soon so if anyone finds em deals post post post

Quadros are optimized for workstation applications. Very similar to their gaming cousins, but sacrifice some performance for accuracy.
