For something that simple, yeah... I can get something that will do the same thing at Canadian Tire and it will cost less than 5 bucks.

If you want something fancy use an old ram chip or something and it will still be cheaper.

For less than $1, you can get a split-ring that will hold all your keys just fine...and you'll have $99 to spend on something important...

yes it is stupid
also i very much dislike the one you linked above because it cant fold in on itself. takes up too much space

also if you are gonna spend money on one at least get one that opens beer bottles

Aside from spending $100 on a keychain, which I think is silly, sterling isn't a good material for that task. It's a fairly soft metal, and will get worn out quickly. Brass or stainless is better.

Might as well make a gold replica of your penis and use that a keychain, would cost the same.

Look in an auto parts store. The keychain I've used for almost 30 years was a giveaway from a bank. It's nickel coated brass, and has a split ring on both ends. It also has a quick release that separates the 2 ends. That's useful for giving to a valet, or repair shop. I have a flat multii-screwdriver, and P38 can opener along with my main car key on one end. That makes it easy to use the tools by disconnecting the keychain.

Edit:
It looks like this...

Not only worn quickly, it'll tarnish very quickly and need polishing very frequently to keep that new look.

Rather stupid way to spend $100, but to each his own. Guess some must find odd ways to impress others, esp. with an item that'll rarely be seen by anyone else.

because they rub up against metal keys, keychains like that dont maintain their appearance for very long. i would get the same thing in stainless steel at walmart for $3
