I think the Fujifilm 48x might have the same SKU as 24x, because I couldn't find a separate SKU for the Fujifilm 48x at BB's website. If so, you'll get 48x packs even though the website says 24x.

Anyone can confirm if BB has two separate SKU's for Fujifilm 24x vs. 48x CD-R?

I recently bought a FujiFilm 50PK 24x Certified Spindle and they can burn @ 52x with my LiteOn fine.

The only difference generally between different speed fuji disks is a little sticker they put on the package. The way cdr work for the most part is that they get certified when they are made for the highest speed burner that's out... they usually can burn much faster but there are no burners at that time to test them with. So fuji eventually just puts stickers on their cdr spindles that are still in warehouse.

TYs are the only discs i burn at "much" higher speeds than their rated speeds, ie, 40x for 16x. all other media, i set to 24x max.

TY = Taiyo Yuden, which are generally regarded as the best CDRs on the market.

I'd pick one up but I still have like 175 accumulated from previous deals dating from this year all the way to last year. And as someone mentioned, these will burn at 52X, faster burners come out faster than Fuji can update their labels. The cost involved repackaging and relabeling makes it unbeneficial to Fuji and most other makers, so they simply don't relabel them.

Has anyone ever gotten two rebates from Fuji/BB before at the same time? I really would like to know if the policy is only one per item type. It seems to be that with most rebates, but I seem to remember that some companies will give a few rebates per year, as long as you don't go over their limit....

It's my understanding that Fuji will only allow one rebate per item every 30 days. But if BB has them again in 2 weeks it probably will go through. I know at Radio Shack they allowed up to 4 rebates, but on my BB receipts it says limit one. I have purchased a 100 pack and a 30 pack on the same day, each with a rebate and Fuji said, "no problem, their different sizes". But don't try and buy 2 100-packs this week and hope to get away with it.
