If CompUSA's sale is still on this week, one could save his $10 off Buy.com coupon for a different occassion, and ask buy.com to pricematch CompUSA's price of 29.99. CompUSA is on buy's price match page as a company they will price match.

The sale is over. Besides, A lot of the stores ran out by Tuesday (the day that I went) of last week. Damn, I should have looked more carefully that they are 650, not 700 megs. If I had brought them, I would lose 5 gig of storage!!!

74 mins? does anyone still use these?

For most data and audio "archive" purposes all you need is 74min. The rest is often just wasted space. I prefer to use the 650meg CDs unless I need extra room because some older CD-Roms have problems reading the 700meg disks. Also, in the past I've had trouble with the 80min ones and found that in general they have not been as reliable as the others. This may have changed with more recent produtions, I don't know.

You'll get a receipt or at least a packing slip that serves as proof of purchase. When I ordered the TDK cdr's from buy.com, a receipt was generated on-screen with instructions to print it out.
