saw this advertised on a B&M verizon store yesterday. it can be found

not sure if it is nationwide or for few select markets. i could not find this

Seems like a regional thing. Nothing here in NYC. Nice deal although no long distance is included. Seems like you guys out in CA have some more choice options like North America's choice with free roaming in Canada and Mexico. Also I can't remember the last time I saw a 29.99 local plan here on the east coast.

i've been on that plan for about one year now. Free long distance plus roaming in California, Arizona, and parts of Nevada. I've never gone over my 1000 minutes so I'm happy.

Yeah but if you know you are satisfied with the service carrier and won't be switching at all then it's all right.

Had AT&T Wireless local $30 plan for 350 anytime/unlimited NW since Sep 03, and just this weekend jumped on the new deal:

And got a SE T616 for $20. I did have to sign a two-year but it's fine for me.

If this is $39.99 for 1000 local only, then why not go for metro pcs $40.00 unlimited local including long distance?
