Hello all. I'm looking for a laptop recommendation.
Looking for a 15 to 17 inch display, good quality panel, IPS, 1080p - 1440p. Not interested in going 4k or OLED.
Would like to have something lighterweight and slimmer, do not need a full blown gaming laptop. Will be used for light gaming, work, and general web surfing. I'd like a dedicated graphics card because I've had Intel UHDS choke up easily and perform in an underwhelming manner.
Other requirements; not entirely picky over exactly what processor, ram, etc.
I was leaning towards a refurbished Dell XPS 15 with dedicated geforce offering when I read that they thermal throttle a bunch. Someone recommended an Asus to me but then I couldn't filter by price point.
What's a great all-arounder, on the lighter side, but will still do some gaming, and has a bright, beautiful display/screen in it?
