Man, this sure is a loaded PC. PC Mag reviewed it, the eMachines T2200SE. The full specs include:

XP 2200+
512MB DDR
Radeon 9700 Pro
DVD and CD-RW
all for $999.

They sure are prolly taking some hits to make a system for that price, but this sure is the kind of PC's that should be being made for this price (ie no P4 2.6-2.8GHz's, but XP 2000-2200+'s).

Umm, for the same price, why on earth would you want a 2000-2200+ over a P4 2.6-2.8?

that's pretty nice for an e-machine. Only thoughts of e-machines date to 1999 or early 2000 .. not too good as i recall.
