For those that were on the Cyberwings ride, you may remember that this was the outfit that the infamous Shawn J. White supposedly went with for his new data center in Virginia. Partly because of that debacle and from what little I've read regarding their service and support, I probably wouldn't be too excited to jump on this offer.

However, the price by itself is certainly agressive, I don't deny that.

I beleive Cogent has strict rules about running a business from these lines.... at least that is what I've heard.

Looks like they charge $3k a month if you are a ISP.

From what I understood of Cogent's specials was that if your building isnt already lit, they wouldnt come out to give you a line. They used to have gigabit for $10000 a month... what it was was 100mbit for 10 people for $1000 a month - catch was it had to be 10 different customers.

BTW, last time I used congent, it has TERRIBLE routing and was god awful speed.
