100pk CDRs @ Bestbuy $30....details inside

They are listed as 16X on the website. I went into the store to pick them up and they were OOS but had the 24X for $50. I ordered online to do a store pick-up and 3 hours later when I picked them up at the store they gave me the 24X that had previously been scanned @ $50.

I don't think this is just a fluke for me, they didn't even mention it was 24/16X at all.

This was picked up at the Westminster Mall store in SOCAL.

I would NEVER pay that much. But I guess if you like that brand

no pun intended. Im super cheap err i mean thrifty.
But ya 30 for 100 isnt that bad, espically if those cdrs are great, ive never used them before.
That deal for 500 for 75 is on level with my cheapness.

The $75 dollar deal is definately better....I just can't afford it. But hell an extra hundred extra disks laying around with 10MB of data on them and no label will really help increase my clutter and frustration. Maybe I can also find a deal on 1,000 floppy disks.

Are you talking about digital research 24x cdr's?
If so there is a $15.00 Rebate. I went to bestbuy yesterday and checked it out. The ad says 16x but they had 24x on display and I doubled checked with the clerk to make sure. I got the $15.00 rebate slip with the receipt.

Sam's Club has Verbatim 16x media (it burns at 24x in my Liteon) 100pks for $29, or you can buy two Verbatim 50pks for a bit cheaper (kinda weird, but true).

Just can't stand the thought of actually paying for CDR's. I've got about 600-700 of them that I made a few bucks on, let alone paying for them.
