100pk Memorex CD-Rs for -$1..25 Best Buy AR, PM

It took me almost half an hour to complete the price match in BB. $10 is not worth the effort. One of the CSR said that I can't get rebate as Memorex won't give me $20 rebate as the purchase price is lower than $20. They can't fool me. I look down on them. Being a BB employee, you have to be a lier.

I went to bb today to buy the memorex CD-R and they said they were not able to price match the CD-R because all the targets are out of stock.... And i know that is BS because there is no way all the targets are out of stock of CD-Rs GRRRR. Sooo I just made a fool of myself for 30.00 measley dollars in front of everyone and raised some hell in BB, and still didn't get the price match.... Well Ill try again tomorrow !!!!!! HEHE

I just went to Best Buy brought the ad with me. The target ad i have shows 40x. The Best buy in pinole had like 3 packs left. I thought TY didnt make 100s? oh well hehe I went there looked for where it was made. Japan whew hoo so I picked it up, went to the csr but she said that they dont pm unless its instock at the other store? wtf... anyhow she said when its in stock I can bring it back and get the PM. oh well

lowelo7798, to avoid all the hassels, buy the item first. Then bring your receipt and flyer to the customer service. Whether the item is on stock or not, it doesn't matter anymore.

I picked up a spindle last night from the Federal Way BB with no hassles. I paid for them at the cashier and went over to the CS desk and asked for a pricematch with the Target flyer in hand. She obliged and did not ask for my rebate reciept or rebate form and I kept my original receipt. When I left, they had 2 spindles left, 1 made in Taiwan and the other made in Japan.

haha. I got it from san diego BB. The lady just gave me the PM, and then when the rebate form printed out she just stood there staring at it...she was confused because I was going to get $1.25 back...but she gave it to me anyways.

Well, to BB it does matter if the CD-Rs are in stock... And After I purchased the CD-Rs i brought them to the CS to price match and they wouldn't do unless Target were in stock........ But i Went to target today and WULAH!! there they were the same exact CD-Rs in stock and I fuess BB was LyINg. Oh WeLL... I'm just gonna try one more tiime and if they don't agree..... OH WELL.... 100 CD-rs for $10.00 is still a nice price...!

For your information NuclearFusi0n1, I did successfully purchased 3 spins with the pricematched price at the local BB@WestminsterMall, CA. But I am kinda skittish about the rebate after the clerk told me that they may not honor the rebates because I used the pricematched prices to purchase the items. Sure enough, the rebate receipts on all 3 of them has the words "Competitive Pricematched" then the regular and pricematched price on the printouts. I am not sure I should keep the cdr's or returning them because that's $60 of rebates. Can anyone confirm this?

BTW, I am kinda leaning on returning them and pick up the same kind of CDR - Memorex 50 Pak 80Min 40X CDR @ OfficeDepot for $4.99 ($14.99 -$10 Rebate) because it seems like a better bet.

I have had many rebates(about 6-7) that best buys pricematched and I was able to get the rebate.
Make sure they give you the reciept that printed out on the register instead of the yellow or pink pricematch slip the cashier fills out.
I had one time when the cashier refused to give me the reciept for the mail in rebate because the item would be free after, but a quick call to the manager solved that issue.

you know that is very stupid of BestBuy to encourage their CustomerServiceRepresentatives to engage in such fraudulent actions as deceiving their customers in that manner... ..:disgust: so in effect ..they did not complete the sales transaction by offering/providing the customer with receipts that are valid/usable for a return if needed. Just went to the local Best Buy and grabbed the only one made in Japan; the other three were made in Taiwan. Went to Target next door and grabbed an ad. Came back to Best Buy and price matched. Took about 1 minute to do the actual pricing matching. Got 110% too.
