Hello.

Now in February 2025 which do you consider to be the best 1080p monitor (only)? I have read many websites and these models are my conclusions:

- LG 27GS60F-B: https://www.lg.com/es/monitores/monitores-ultragear-gaming/27gs60f-b/

- Optix-G272P ruled out for 120 Mhz Only: https://es.msi.com/Monitor/Optix-G272P/Specification

- Alienware 27 - AW2724HF: https://www.dell.com/es-es/shop/mon...-aw2724hf/apd/210-bhtm/monitores-y-accesorios

- MSI G274F: https://es.msi.com/Monitor/G274F/Specification

- Asus TUF Gaming VG27XXX. There are so many that I don't know which one is better: https://www.asus.com/es/displays-de.../filter?Category=27-30-9&Spec=464,474,479,481

- Aoc 27G4XED: https://aoc.com/es/gaming/products/monitors/27g4xed

I can't buy more than 1080p because my graphics card doesn't support it. I have a rtx4500

Required:

- Minimum IPS

- 27"

- Gsync or freesync. I prefer gsync which I have nvidia

- Minimum 144Hz

- Minimum 1ms response

Optional:

- HDR I understand is also important for image quality

My favorite at the moment is Aoc 27G4XED for the features but I don't know if it will look better than the ASUS

Budget 500 €

Please refrain from commenting on monitors that are not 1080p. I will not buy it.

Thanks

? RTX4500 was launched less than two years ago (!) supports far more than only 1080p. Does it have all 4, Displayport 1.4a connectors? If so then it can do the following, or at least for # of monitors it has DP ports for:

Max simultaneous displays
4x 4096 x 2160 @ 120Hz,
4x 5120 x 2880 @ 60Hz,
2x 7680 x 4320 @ 60Hz

With that stated, the rest is just opinion. Often someone will want a monitor with no higher native resolution than the video card can support for gaming at reasonable framerates, but RTX4500 tests at roughly between 3060ti and a 3070, so it can game most titles at good framerate at 1440p and some still a playable framerate at 4K.

If you're not gaming then you don't really need 144Hz or 1ms response times. Just one opinion, I'd take a larger, higher res. monitor any time over a little 27" 1080p which would make me want to get up and do something else instead of having to plant my face 2 feet away from 3 of them to get a useful result. It really seems like a contradiction, "best" 1080p monitor, but if wanting to go backwards in time to that era, I'd check some review sites. Here's one:

Lastly keep in mind that if your RTX4500 does have just the Displayport outputs and the monitors have only HDMI inputs, then you'll need adapters.

I have to assume it supports DP++ dual mode so if that is true, then you can use less expensive, passive DP to HDMI adapters. However many of those are limited in bandwidth and won't support 4K at higher than 60Hz refresh rate, and some only do 30Hz at 4K. Whether they can do 144Hz at 2K, IDK, calculate out the bandwidth for any particular resolution and refresh rate.

Uhh... RTX 4500 is a professional GPU from previous generation of GPUs. You are NOT limited to 1080, you can easily buy even 42" LG OLED TV and run it happily at 120 Hz, if you can get DP1.4 - HDMI 2.1 cable.
