Just got mine in... 10GB win. The thing looks brand new!!!!!!! No scratches, No fingerprints. This is sweet. The hardest part was putting it into the tight fitting case that I bought for it. It's charging now. I'd order another one and sell it on eBay if I could. Thank you Apple.

Just got mine too brand freaking new looking a little heavier then I expected but it rocks charging battery now. Is it best to go full charge the first use or just an hour (80% according to manual I know some batteries are very picky about this stuff)?

In the past, Apple updated the "Special Deals" page (aka refurbs) once a week on Tues AM. It seems they have been updated a little more frequently but it still seems to be updated in batches.

BTW, I've ordered multiple refurbs from Apple over the last couple of years. A G4 tower, an iMac, and 2 iPods. All are as good as new except for the cosmetic blemish here or there sometimes. Last week I ordered a 2G 10GB iPod and it arrived in perfect condition. So those receiving "dirty" iPods are the exception and not the rule (at least from my experience with Apple).

Nm im an idiot I thought it actually spun so you could feel it. I was doing it with it off so I was like wtf spin. Only problem is their cd didn't work so I downloaded freeware of musicmatch for now.

Screw musicmatch... try ephpod. It has a nice GUI and is easy to use. Also, don't forget to update to the 1.3 software.

If you use musicmatch , you can use the cd key for musicmatch 7.1 on the cd that you get to register the new 8.1 plus verison. Dont forget to get the ipod plugin for musicmatch if you use it. (i am currently using both to get the feel of each)

Pretty cool tools with ephpod is getting the weather and news sent to it, via a contact style.

i haven't tried ephpod out myself, but don't forget about XPlay... very easy to use and i'm sure it's up there with ephpod
either way, both are way better than musicmatch... mm jukebox just feels sluggish and isn't nearly as convenient as XPlay

Just got my 10gig Windows that I ordered 2 days ago. Everything looks brand new. All accessories are sealed in bags, the ipod has clear stickers all around, and even the retail box was sealed (no refurb sticker either)! Works great!
