I'm certain the FAH client is set to under utilize the GPU, so users don't get mad about their computer being sluggish, and their youtube videos of cats chasing laser pointers being choppy.

Is there any advanced settings or flags that will allow FAH to use more GPU? Depending on the WU, I am seeing as little as 66% utilization.

My 7950 seems to only get to 98% utilization. Which is fine by me, it keeps my GUI snappy, and my cat videos playing smooth...

Thanks for the great stats, Peter!

I tossed in my power hungry 780Ti for the last leg of the race.

I may not be able to wave as I have at others as I pass, I am sort of 'white-knuckled' at the moment just trying to hang on to this turbo-nitrous-alcohol fueled-supercharged-fuel injected-Hemi powered beast I've created!

Well, crap, I will have to install my new Win7 disk on my power hungry 290, and get it going today to counter.

Lol, ninja cat videos are funnier

Aside from (the automatic) allocating of a CPU core I don't know the answer to your question I'm afraid.

Well, I got my R9 290 up, and the thing is only doing 150k. I remember my 780ti(before it died in 6 months) did over 200k. But anyway, trying to help the team.

Well Sir, you've got an impressive, up to date arsenal already. Maybe come summer when the next gen hits the shelves, sell and upgrade then. You chose wisely in my book.

Update... The box got down to 110k. I changed the CPU config to 6 from -1 on an 8 thread CPU. PPD went back to 160k. Using -2 CPU's from max seems to make a difference.

Currently, it's Summer for the next 3 days or so, highs expected to be in the upper 70's (25C). The window fans will not be sufficient, time to turn on the A/C again.

Btw are the individual stats & the day by day stats taken at different times?

What CPU's that with? It feeds just 1 GPU?

Tony

Here are the stats as of December 24, 2015, 19:00 UTC:

The individual stats:

The day-by-day production:

The TeAm's production graph:

The top-producers in the TeAm:

All the racers are in there! Great work is going on.
The TeAm has never before produced this much in one month. Our daily production is in the order of 11M - 14M points each day.
We are in 30th place in produced points, and 15th place in daily production.
Really nice production.

Now let us do some more: lets cross the 15M points in one day milestone. It does not need very much more ... just a teeny little bit ...

Oh, By the way: Merry Christmas to all!

I think its a X5670 Xeon, I know its 4 cores, 8 thread 3 ghz. So using 2 cores on GPU, but since I posted it got below 100k, its the unit. This 290 is a crap GPU for folding.

Oh, and they got our heat, out here its 38 at night and 45 in the day ! NW US

Thank you Petrus! Merry Christmas to you and yours as well! Be sure to set out a few bowls of reindeer food, perhaps Father Christmas will be delayed and distracted long enough for you to sneak a few extra's out of his bag.

To all: How long does it take for the 24 hour average estimated ppd to match your actual ppd? I did some quick math and it looks like at least 7 days worth of production is what the 24 hr avg is based on.

ExtremeOverclocking FAQ To Tony:
A: A 24hr average is simply the past 7 day's total divided by 7.

Ah! Ok, cool, thanks ExtremeOverclocking FAQ. You're too kind.

If you have unlimited bandwidth, here's your present from me, a ".gif-card"! Hee hee!

Merry Christmas Everyone!

NOTE: Kudos to Corsair on warranty service. Sent them an AX-1200 10 days ago or less, that was bad. with no cables. They returned to me in less than about 10 days a brand new AX1200i in the box !!!!!!

Edit, open on 12/16, shipped late 12/16, received by them 12/18, shipped back on 12/22 and received on 12/24.

Thats service !
