After you get your passkey and start folding you are required to finish 10 WUs before you can get quick return bonuses.
As best I recall the passkey is personal so if you have completed 10 WUs on any machine you are eligible for bonus points.

Yeah, and you can request a new passkey from here:

It is indeed, but look at the column headings....

No problems:
Your name is right, your team affiliation is right.
"Points 24hr Avg" is the PPD. In your case 497 783 points in average in 24 hours = 497 783 PPD (points per day). Or am I wrong? You are producing really good!

Nothing wrong with that chart, just the one you made showing the pre-race ppd/points.

I must be tired - don't usually make such errors that often ...

That's ok, we still love you. A little.

I'm only committing 2 of 6 AMD GPUs, and am now phasing all my boxes from Berkely to Stanford as I type. I have some winter goals for my GPUs that will be tough to accomplish, but impossible to accomplish if I put them all on Folding for a month.

I have 3 24 core boxes turned off.....not worth the electric bill for the points.

I see your point now. I have had 10 very powerful machines running, but only 2 GPUs (135,000ppd est each on the GPU) and getting a respectable? 850,000ppd est. total on everything.

But....that's equivalent to running a clothes dryer on medium heat 24/7. Only BumbleBee and Wuss have decent energy cost-to-points ratios (120,000ppd each).

Just as it makes no good sense to run Milkyway on CPU when the GPU is soooo much more efficient, this project likewise makes little sense to run on CPU unless the house is below 65F degrees.

I'm pulling the plug on at least four machines, possible six.

But... I do have (semi-efficient) GPU power to juggle, mix, and mingle. Decisions, decisions. I'm gonna have to consult with Evan Williams about this one. Meanwhile I have to go turn the air conditioning on again...

Thanks for the stats petrusbroder!

(from PG races this year) ...and there goes Tony. I didn't even see if he waved he went by so fast

I'm a bit unfamiliar with the way this project is scored, but it seems there's a ton of points rolling in now. OrangeKid, would you care to get in the other lane? Not sure how the brakes work on this thing!!! D: But I'll be sure to wave!! () Don't be dropping any banana peelings!

LOL at the images...

Anyways, I unhooked my Q9300 w/R7 250X 2GB DDR3 card, formatted it to sell off, and hooked my primary G3258 @ 4.0Ghz w/7950 3GB GDDR5 up again, and installed F@H on it.

It seems to have defaulted to running a CPU WU on one core, and running GPU WUs using the GPU and the other core. Which is fine by me, it leaves that CPU core used for the GPU partially free for me to run other stuff too.

The client is reporting 96501 PPD right now, but I don't know if that blindly includes any type of quick-return bonus, which I won't be getting right away (have to complete ten WUs, I guess). So hopefully I can report some points in a day or two.

Still planning (hoping) to ramp up maybe another couple of machines for the race.

I have a rogue WU I hope to get more of. A LOT more. (Unless it's a computing error)

This particular GPU task took less than 20 minutes and is claiming a credit of 159,331.

So, do you think this will actually get credited? Check out the estimated PPD if all tasks were like that one, lol, almost 11,000,000 on that one GPU!!

Let us know ... how many points you got for that one.
That is the problem and the beauty of F@H: you never know what WU you get. Some times the odd one hi-pay, most of the time the others ...

Just a snippet of stats:

The bottom row shows the December production during the 9th Annual F@H Holiday Season Race (in 2014).
The top row our production during the first 3 days.
If we keep up production and/or increase it, we may hit 200 Million points during this race ... a milestone we missed during the 9th race!

Let us try to get that milestone!

Just fired up 6 cores and a GPU here. Sorry I came in late, but better late than never. May get 4 more up today. Forgot it's not a BOINC project and took awhile to figure it out
