11.29V on +12 rail - time for a new PS?

What do you people think, is that too low? Should I replace the PS? That's when the system is idle btw, I assume it goes up a bit under load. The PS is an Antec True430, so I'm kinda surprised seeing such a great deviation from 12 in a good-quality PSU.

I think that is in the range that Antec requires to have your PSU replaced under warranty. For more information you can try PMing AntecCSR.

Check it with a voltmeter, if you haven't already. Voltmeters are the real deal

I had an Aopen P4 board read 11.25v using an an Antec true 380, replace the Aopen MB with an Abit NForce and get 12.05v. The moral is it's most likely to be a motherboard issue instead of a PSU problem.
By the way, the P4 system was just as stable as the NForce so the low voltage issue was not really an issue.

what mobo do you have? your voltages can vary a lot depending on the board..
ie.. i used to get 4.85V on EPoX 8K7A for the 5V+ rail.. i get 4.90-4.95V on an ABIT KX7-333R, and i get 5.03-5.05V on an ABIT NF7-S
