We're currently set to overtake a number of teams very quickly:
Tom's Hardware (15 Days)
Hardware Canucks Forum (14 Days)
Hewlett Packard (8 Days)
The Tech Report (4.5 Days)
TechPowerup! (1.8 Days)

I think the estimates are based on our "24hr average", which is actually based on an average of the last 7 day's output. Right now the site says our average is about 6.5 million less than we are actually producing, so we should overtake those teams a few days earlier than predicted.

Subject to change of course! I doubt everyone has started folding early like most of us have.

I changed some old folding machines to team 198. What more do I need to do to help. Its not much, but every 100k/day helps, right? I let them finish their last WU and will start them up this evening.

Anyone noticed that running experimental 0xa7 WUs return much higher PPDs? On full power, I can usually rake in 80k PPD with 30 cores. I was pleasantly surprised to find that my rig was pulling in 200k PPD on medium power, with 2 0xa7 WUs.

Doing this on my laptop with i7 6700HQ and GTX 960M so won't make much of a difference but it's for a good cause and will help heat my room (I'm a student and the heating isn't on much) while it's running.

Sign me up! Folding for TeAm Anandtech since 2006 usually with an "discarded" pc in the basement. Fired up a sff box with a gtx 750 ti last week. Good for at least 80,000 ppd.

One of my boxen, was apparently Tango Uniform last night. I adjusted the OC and rebooted. If it does it again, I'm taking off the OC. (Pretty mild OC, really.)

Hey guys having some issues here. So when my GPU (GTX 960M, 376.09 drivers) finishes a task it moves onto the next one, starts downloading, and then fails and won't start folding again until a reboot. I get a similar thing with the CPU where it finishes a task, moves onto downloading the next one but then gets stuck on downloading. This persists across a reboot and I've been unable to get it to continue. Does anyone have any suggestions for fixing these?

373.06 are the most current drivers that work with F@H. Download and install those, and you will be fine.

My first suspect with GPUs is drivers. I would recommend dropping back to a pre-375.xx driver at least for the race. The latest drivers may be good for gaming but not necessarily for Folding. Next for the CPU look at the number of cores being used and if it is an odd number drop down to the next even number. Try that and get back to us.

Ok I've dropped back to the 373.06 drivers and will let you know if that fixes the issue with new tasks. Unfortunately it seems to have started a pretty large task estimating 9 hours to completion so it'll take a while to find out.
Changing CPU threads from auto 7 to 6 seems to have got the new task working there too but again I'll have to wait for it to finish before I can tell if it's truly fixed.

note: I only signed up with the team yesterday (your total points resets to zero when you switch to a new team). to my knowledge the 24 hr average actually averages over 7 days - since I only have been folding for the team for 1 day my 24 hr avg is WAY low (1/7th) - my actual avg will be closer to 250-300k vs the 38k showing now (38k x 7 = 266k).
