Welcome back ZipSpeed! I've been jealously eyeballing your scores here and there, wondering if I can ever catch you in a few places (WCG in particular). It's good to 'meet' you!

You as well Tony! I lurk more often than post and it's kinda nice to be part of the energy!

Yikes! I had no idea a 9213 would be so slow. It's half the PPD of the worst other WU I've seen! Fortunately, this one's almost done, and the points will come in just at the start of the race.

9211 seems a bit off the pace too, as well as 9208. It almost looks like I'm getting a higher percentage of underperforming WUs than normal.

Ok everything appears to be fixed, set it to 6 CPU threads and 373.06 drivers and left it running overnight and it appears to be moving onto new tasks correctly now. Finished with lectures for the day and it's gone straight back to it so hopefully that's the only trouble I'll have.
Also going to set threads to 8 tonight to try and maximise performance.
Thanks for all the help guys!

Ok, folks here are the first numbers.

The stats are from http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/team_list.php?s=, updated at 18:00 UTC (=12pm CST)
These are the numbers we start from. Only the points count. The ppd is there for information only.

The Teams' race

Some overtake-numbers

The sub-teams' race

It may seem that the Snowmen are at a disadvantage, but remember please, that e.g. 10esseetony produces som 6.1 M points each day and not only 4.7M. That is valid for some other racers in both teams. The ppd take about 7 - 10 days to stabilize.

Now the race is on. Please remember that you can recruit more racers, add, borgh, assimilate and upgrade computers to add to the race.
The more the merrier!

I'm hairy like a Yeti, but I was placed on the ultra smooth Snowmen team. Sigh, now I have to go shave my back and chest.

Alright, my fellow Snowmen: Be ye not dismayed by the PPD deficit shown here at the start of the race (regarding the internal TeAm race). It is based on a 7 day average ppd. Our current, live, at the moment ppd is very close to that of the Yetis'. Petrus has done a fine job ensuring that.

Remember, when engaging the enemy, always wear the bubble wrap you have been provided, to insulate your fluffy ice crystals from the heat of the enemy's GPU exhaust! And for this race, it is OK to allow the ppd streams to cross (but not the pee pee streams), and in fact they must cross if we are to prevail!
And prevail we will!
Muhahahahahahaha ha ha ha! Cough.cough. Ahem, sorry, got my asthma stirred up a bit with that evil cackle.

And my ppd will be going down by 2 million ppd any day now.....I don't think Peter accounted for that, but the next re-eval, I am sure things will get fixed.

Well, its only the first update, but it looks like Toms are adding users and machines like there is no tomorrow !

But the first update, all within the window, they did 4.3m and we did 6.5m, so good for now.

I probably won't get any machines in for another 24 hours, I am trying to recover my private SSH key from my hard drive which seems to have died on me. Also still no tracking number on either the lga1366 mobo nor the CPU, which is very disappointing, but not unexpected since both are coming from the US. The 2 servers that I have in the US are on, but the private key is lost to me, it seems

actually, they're not gaining so much as we're falling back. we dropped from 6,536,788 to 5,166,616 - a drop of 1.37M

but, I know my own numbers fluctuate considerably due to completion timing and other factors. the daily tally will tell the better tale (say that three times real fast

I had to take the side of the case off and mount another 140mm to blow in from the side. Set the fan profile to 95% on both cards. 67c / 77c now with both clocks at 1303mhz. Living room is warm, so most of the night I have had the AC blower on, just to suck the heat down the hall and into the other rooms. Heatpump probably wont kick on at all this December, haha..

Ok, that's it. I'm going to attempt to fire up my Thuban rig that's been sitting dormant for a year, and throw in two R9 270X 2GB cards.

Need more POWA!

Edit: OK, fired up. Says 177K PPD, between two R9 270X cards, and 3 cores of a stock-speed Thuban 1045T.

Edit: Oh yeah, had to change out my Antec EarthWatts 650 PSU for a RaidMax... (yeah, I know), because I needed more PSU connectors.
