I wouldn't worry. My computer room is one 20a circuit, and I have had 7 computers that were NOT very efficient, and the fuse box got warm to the touch by that breaker. Has survived for 25 years so far,,,,

Right now I think I have about 2500 or more watts running on that breaker. 3 x 500watt computers, a 750 watt computer, a laser printer, 4 monitors and a 300 watt computer. Probably way over right now.

Then there is the dining room. 4 1080's and a 1070 in 3 computers and then 3 monitors, on a 15a circuit. Then 2 bedrooms with 2 400 watt computers each, and...

Wow no wonder I have all the windows open when its getting close to freezing out, and its 75 in here.

So, Ken, your response to this outrageous attempt to hold you off is...?
Hmm, not sure yet. My mobo only has one PCIe slot - it's itx. The plan that occurs to me is to buy a 1070, move the 1060 to my old machine, and drop the 750ti. But that would take a new PSU too, and I kinda don't want to drop all that cash.
Edit: Taking stock of my "available" video cards, besides my ancient ones (9600GSO 96SP, HD4850, GT630 passive), I've got a couple of 750ti cards, and maybe one or two R7 250X DDR3 cards. Are those worth throwing into the ring? Still, a bit concerned about my power usage, and I think that those cards would be kind of diminishing returns.
750ti does about 75kppd. It occurs to me you might be able to sell all four of those cards and get enough to buy one 1060 like mine that does 350-400kppd.

Since turning it on for the first time this morning I have since made 410,013 Units total (21,779 go to AT's team 198) and 5434 Points Per Day. Do these number sound about right?
2500K + GTX 670 at Medium setting.

It sounds like your GPU WUs are erroring out big time.

Make sure you use the 373.06 drivers, not the latest. The latest drivers cause GPU errors.

Ken_g6, you're still going to pass me? I guess one more WU and you'll be there. I was sure I put on enough firepower to prevent you from passing. Alas, a little too late.

Are you using your "mighty i3"? Does F@H support AVX?

How do I know if my GPU is erroring out? Where are the errors listed?

Edit: Ohhhh I now see the F@H page separates into 2 large tabs- one for CPU at 5468 PPD and 1 for GPU at 14,400 PPD. I'm surprised it's not listed combined. So do these numbers sound better?

Looks like each is working on entirely separate projects as well? Interesting.

According to this chart:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1vcVoSVtamcoGj5sFfvKF_XlvuviWWveJIg_iZ8U2bf0/pub?output=html#

GTX 670 should be at 88k PPD.

If you open up the advanced control for FAH (assuming Windows, right click on taskbar and go to Advanced control), you should see the WUs your system is running and how the GPU will quit frequently while at a low % on a WU.
There's a LOG tab as well so you can see all the errors.

TL;DR: Download older NVIDIA drivers, 373 or older, and install them. This should fix the issue.

Caveat: I'm assuming you're running at Full/Medium 100%, not in idle-only mode.

Seems like I passed you, then you passed me again.

Lol, well I missed this & you've long since warped past me!
What you running F@H on Ken?
The i3 isn't doing much. It's mostly "The Video Card of Insufferable Arrogance" (EVGA GTX 1060 3GB SC), plus my old 750Ti, plus three CPU processes that really don't add up to much (maybe 24KPPD). F@H doesn't seem to support AVX.

Ok Markfw...we are well ahead of Tom's, the Canucks as well, and you personally are well ahead of everyone in the internal race. It's time to pull those extra cards, pack them safely in the return to sender boxes, wish them well, and take them to the post office. You're a day late doing so and at risk of being charged inappropriate prices, so: This is an intervention.

We're only on day 3 of December and we've already done more work than the team did in all of August pretty much.

Its UPS pre-paid, and they are not even open until Monday. And I have water-aerobics monday, so maybe Tuesday....

Well, this afternoon, to make room for MORE video cards (yeah!), I decided to "consolidate" on my two G4400 machines. They are running Z170 Pro4S ATX mobos, with two PCI-E slots (one PCI-E 3.0 x16, one 3.0 x4). I had one 7950 in each machine, in the x16 slot. All was well. But I wanted MORE.

So I pulled the card out of the machine on the left, and, after upgrading the PSU with more PCI-E power cables, I put it into the secondary PCI-E slot on the machine on the right. Got it all hooked up, had a little trouble adding the second GPU slot, didn't realize you had to select the radio button on the left for CPU or GPU.

Then when it did work, I had three units in the Work Queue. Whatever.

I've got both cards crunching, and before, the main card wouldn't get over 70C, pretty-much. Now, it's at 89C! Now I remember why I didn't like multi-GPU. The temps!

The computer is in a cubby in a desk, but it's open on the front, and a good portion of the back. I don't have the sides on the case either.

Hmm, maybe it's running hotter, because of PSU voltages? I swapped in a RaidMax (I really hope that those don't fail on me), and now the 12V input monitor on my top card, in GPU-Z, is saying that the 12V line is 11.41V. Before, it was like 11.84V or something around there, with the single GPU and my EVGA 500 B PSU.

Sigh, maybe I'll have to dig into my closet, and bust out my Antec Edge 950W Gold PSUs, for these two crunchers. I was hoping I could get by with the RaidMax units.

Edit: ARG. I guess my F@H config got corrupted, when I tried to launch GPU-Z, and the entire machine froze hard. (Happened on my other PC too - bug in newest GPU-Z init code?), and had to force power-off.

I noticed that my "Identity" section in the Advanced Control was showing "Anonymous" and "Team 0" again. So I un-installed F@H, and re-installed it, losing a few hours of folding in the process.

Here are the stats for December 3, the second full day of the race. The stats are from http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/team_list.php?s=, updated at 18:00 UTC (=12pm CST). Only the points count. The ppd is there for information only.

The Teams' race stats

TeAm AnandTech still outproduces the other teams ...

Some overtake stats

The Yetis vs. The Snowmen

The daily production

The names are in alphabetical order in each team.
Looking back to the previous races: one of the sub-teams often started out strong, after a few days the other sub-team starts catching up and often passed ...
It is way too early to start guessing ...

However:
Team Anandtech's production (daily, weekly and monthly) has never been so large as during the past days or weeks or months. Our non-racing production in November was much larger than the racing month of December 2015! We are doing very good!

I did a small bit of folding for the team late in November to make sure everything was working, then kicked things into full gear late on December 1st (was out of town). Folding@Home name same as here. How do I get assigned to a team?
980ti and i7-6700k full speed ahead!

Welcome, HighTechJoe, I'll put you into one of the teams tomorrow .... my privilege!
