I am not folding with my 980ti anymore, since I have given it to indydude. I hope he can be persuaded to fold with it, but from now on I'll be short 650K ppd or so.

Christmas Day stats
Here are the stats for December 25, 2016, and the 24th day of the 11th Annual Folding@Home Holiday Season Race.
The stats are from http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/team_list.php?s=, updated at 21:00 UTC (=3pm CST).
Only the points count. The ppd is there for information only.

The Teams' stats

The Yetis vs. The Snowmen

The sub-teams' daily production

The racers' daily production

Only seven more days of the race - now it is time for the Grand Finale: to muster your forces, computers, CPUs, GPUs, fellow folders!
Let us produce 4 times the points compared to 2015! For that we need to produce at least 35M points each day for seven days. Let's get folding!

Second Day of Christmas stats
Here are the stats for December 26, 2016, and the 25th day of the 11th Annual Folding@Home Holiday Season Race.

Only 6 more full days of the race ... lets fold a little bit more, please?
The past 24 hours the whole TeAm produced 36.957 M points. If we keep this up, we may end up at a total of 1.3B points, which would be more than 4 times the last years' production.

Thanks for the stats petrus!

.....

Finally, as I previously promised, I will be sending out a special gift to one lucky participant in the near future. Keep an eye on your inbox over the next few days, as I'll need to collect your contact information.

Anyone want to come forward and tell us that you were the lucky one, and tell us whatcha got?

I got NOTHING except a $25 red robin gift certificate from my sons father in law.

Except for getting myself $3000 in video cards 2 months ago.

Edit, Oh, I see you are asking for who got the free stuff.... Not me

I won $10 on a lottery scratcher, after spending $2 ea on two of them. Yay me.

I also bought two 40" 4K UHD HDR TV screens during BF days. Lots 'O screen real-estate.

Bought some CPUs, some RAM, and another mini-PC for Jan.

Larry, after flashing and enabling your disabled cores on the GPU, then getting bricked by the new driver, then going back to the un-hacked/disabled BIOS....did you re-hack and stick with older drivers, or stay stock BIOS with newer drivers?

And if you want to see what triple 1070's and 24 cores look like:
Nice!
Your rig's 585w is a little shy of using 50% more power than my main rig on F@H (which when showing ~200k ppd draws ~400w), but I bet your ppd is a long way north of 50% of my ppd! lol, 8x maybe? .

Btw Did that case have the PSU at the bottom & m/brd at the top as std or did you mod it?

Thanks for the stats Petrus

Mark, im curious: what's the actual power draw of your system? the anandtech review of the 1070 showed about 230W system draw difference between idle and load (using Crysis 3 to load the GPU) - of course that includes power efficiency and CPU loading, not to mention RAM/SSD usage, but should be pretty comparative to what F@H uses (?) - and those CPU's gotta pull some juice too if fully loaded (with that many cores). I'm guessing your pushing 1000-1200W give or take at full load (CPU and GPU)?

Yes, standard for that case. Its an extended atx case (12x13 inch) and currently is putting out 1.7 million ppd. I took off the overclock, and lost 40k, but it was not worth the box re-booting, so its now @stock. The current WU's must be hard, it went up to 650 watts draw.

8 cores assisting the video cards, and 16 cores folding.

Did you have to sell a lot to buy that stuff? Your performance is way down, so far that I'm on your radar to catch you again! (Eventually.)

Pretty good guess I did, it's actually 8.5x faster! lol (in F@H anyway, & I see I missed the ppd there).

He said 585w here http://www.portvapes.co.uk/?id=Latest-exam-1Z0-876-Dumps&exid=thread...ason-3-way-race.2489602/page-32#post-38640053

Just to clarify. Using kill-a-watt, with 2 980's and 24 cores@2.9 ghz, it was drawing 750 watts. Now with 2.13 ghz (stock for 5639's) and 3 1070's the same meter says 585-650, depending on what units its processing. Now the SR2 has 2 6 pin PCI-E connector on the motherboard, and 2 8 pin power connectors, that motherboard draws a lot. But the cards only have one 8 pin power connector each, and they sip power comapred to the 980's.

And the ppd went from 800k to 1.7 million with that change.

585-650?!?! wow, that's insane lol. the performance-to-power ratio of the 1000 series is astounding. I assumed (based on the review I read) that you would be pulling almost double that. impressive indeed!

It sounds like this is most likely due to a crash recovery by the driver which means you should drop your OC by a notch and see how that goes.

I continue to experience the downclock problem, on various machines. The GPU clock speed drops to 400MHz and stays there until rebooted. The cards aren't overclocked, and running within temp limits (mid 70s C). If it were a driver crash/recovery, shouldn't both cards be affected, and not just one card?

...two new GTXs bring my total PPD up to 1.9 M at least now, and on nice days a trusty little W7000 might push it even just so towards 2.0 M.

That would have been too good to be true. While the Xeons, W7000, and 1080@stock hold up fine, the factory-OCed 1070@2.0GHz keeps causing trouble. Once it apparently caused a reboot of the PC which it currently shares with the 1080, and the BIOS halted on a prompt to "press F1 to enter setup" for the whole night.

Now I went away traveling, and sure enough, FahCore_21.exe crashed on the 1070 little more than an hour after I was out of the house. Windows helpfully held up a crash report requester for me to acknowledge at my return until three days after. I'm glad that at least the 1080 continued production in the meantime, and at staunch 1.8 GHz too.

I dialed the 1070 down to 1.9 GHz now. At 2.0 GHz as well as at 1.9 GHz, GPU-Z states that Reliability Voltage is capping this card's speed.

My two stock 1070s are overclocked to 1.9+ depending on the workload and I've had no trouble out of them, but my one factory overclocked 1070 has been troublesome at the same 'default' speed. I did try to push it a little bit though, and it seems stable for a few days now with any and all tweaks removed.

Orange Kid, it always seems to be the one of the cards connected to a monitor that drops to 400MHz.
