I doubt it. Since the energy used by the computers also heats my house ... I reuse more than 80% of the heat produced by the computers, and thus use less power for heating. If that would not be the case I would have a hard time to justify the expenditures ...

I agree. And two would quadrouple the output ... and I could produce 30M/month ... would be nice.

I decided it was cool enough outside to warrant a full throttle 24 hour run for Folding@home. Less than 9 hours to go, and I'm trailing Mark by 9000 points.

I still vote for me, Mark and Pokey to be one team, taking on the rest of ya!

Our entire TeAm total for this year's race should truly be one for the record book!! Going to be even more memorable since we are going to crush both Tom's and the Canadians.

What I would really like to see is more Team Anandtech folders sign up. We seem to be seriously dwindling in numbers compared to years past.

Well I'll be in, depending on how hot it is in Australia, I might have to start thermal throttling my compute units to stay within Thermal margins

However .... A GTX 1070 puts out almost as much heat as a 980TI, BUT only uses 100 watts, instead of 200 or more. efficiency !

Having an issue with the driver causing errors to occur, I am trying an older driver, perhaps one from say 340 ish, that or it might be the LGA771 mobos I bought......

Thanks for the welcome Orange Kid, MarkFW and Tony! I have 2 GTX 980s in right now and they seem to be doing just fine so far. I'm pretty sure I participated in last years race but I took a break from DC until now. It's hard to pass up on this annual event.

Well, I am going to pass up EXT64 in 1.9 weeks, virtually the day it starts. Thats TomsHardware's highest user.

Edit: Titilating, you need to update the article, naybe have someone check the whole thing. This:

Should be "will furnish" or "will be furnishing"
