this is what happens when people are allowed to buy guns
Agreed. It's retarded.

Eat a dick, and take your bullshit to P&N.
The cats kinda outta the bag on that one, millions of guns are already in the hands of people, good and bad. Outlaw gun sales will only provoke a black market of dealers and guns made offshore, maybe a metal detector at theaters? how sad our times, how sad...
I think the guy shot up people outside standing in crowds.
According to CNN the guy gave up. He didn't even put up a fight. They are looking for an Indian male suspect.

RIP
This is ridiculous.
It's the reason I disagree with gun ownership. Shit like this shouldn't happen as often as it seems to America.
From the news release, "The gunman "appeared at the front of the screen" in the theatre and started shooting, Fania said."
read the story...
Witnesses in the live news feed said *two* cannisters were thrown - one from the front, one from the back of the theater. Another suspect?

He showed up wearing a tear gas mask, threw a gas gredande, then started shooting. People thought it was part of a promotion for the movie first.
Really really sad and scary. I'm so sorry for the families of the victims. :'(
Yeah, I just caught that as well. Seems more plausible...2 girls being interviewed on 9news who were in theater 9 just said one guy had 2 cannisters and threw them into the crowd.
Michelle and I are shocked and saddened by the horrific and tragic shooting in Colorado. Federal and local law enforcement are still responding, and my Administration will do everything that we can to support the people of Aurora in this extraordinarily difficult time. We are committed to bringing whoever was responsible to justice, ensuring the safety of our people, and caring for those who have been wounded. As we do when confronted by moments of darkness and challenge, we must now come together as one American family. All of us must have the people of Aurora in our thoughts and prayers as they confront the loss of family, friends, and neighbors, and we must stand together with them in the challenging hours and days to come.
