I don't know about 2-3 hours being super-fast, Rayovac makes 2000 miah batteries that recharge in 15 minutes. I believe the charger and 4 batteries is $29.95 at Sam's Club.

Yes, I have bought there batteries and use them in my digital camera, wireless mouse, flashlights, remote controls, and wireless keyboard. As far as I recall, I have not had any problems at all.

My charger is similar to this one, and the batteries get pretty hot, which is supposed to reduce their life span. However, they do get charged in a hurry, and it saves tons of money over buying Alkaline batteries.

Hmm. I find it hard to believe that it can fully charge a drained battery in 15 minutes. Maybe recharge a battery that is only slightly drained in 15 minutes. I think trying to charge a battery that quickly would overheat it severely. Of course, I could be wrong...

Back to the deal: Sounds like a good deal if shipping doesn't kill it. I especially like chargers that include an auto battery adapter. Handy if you run out the door before you get a chance to charge the batteries.

It's true, but they are special Rayovac batteries. You can't charge normal nickel-metal hydride. Radio Shack resells the same battery under their own brand.

Powerizer NiMH batteries (from batteryspace.com) isn't exactly the best and a percentage of the batteries produced will be defective. I had 2 defective out of 4. Luckily for me, batteryspace.com has superb customer service. They will simply send you replacements if you let them know.

BTW, is that a V1000 charger? It looks reeeeeeally similar.

I have the Rayovac charger and batteries in question above. They are called IC3 batteries, rayovac brand. 2000mAh NiMH batteries.

They charge in under 15 minutes on the IC3 Rayovac Charger.

Paid 23.99 for the charger at walmart (holds 4 batteries, comes with 2). I bought 4 additional batteries for about 10 bukcs. Not the greatest deal, but there were no deals around at the time.

i've had quite the opposite experience. 4 months after i received my batteries, i found out one of them wouldn't charge. i emailed them stating my problem and wat i've tried. i stated that i wasn't going to bother returning them since it's obviously past 30days and that the shipping will cost more than the battery itself. 1 or 2 days later they emailed me back stating that they would send one to me free of charge. got a 2200mAH one instead of the 1800mAH which i originally ordered.

just wanted to share my experience.

Yikes! The Customer Service part is bad enough, but it doesn't scare me nearly as much as the batteries exploding! :Q I love a good deal, but I'd rather pay a few bucks more and not burn the house down.
