120 gig partition in NTFS?

I will get a 120 gig Maxtor drive in a few days, which I will mostly use for storing big files (=divx). I was wondering if I loose a lot of space if I make one big partition of it.

NTFS is a lot better at handling large partitions than FAT ever was (or could ever hope to be). Don't worry about it.

He means that would such a big partition will use a big cluster size so that smaller files will use more space than they really use. And the answer is that you have nothing to worry about.

If you are just storing big Divx files, then large cluster size wouldn't be a problem anyways.
