The rebate is from Maxtor....are they reliable in their rebate, or will they default? Is this drive any good compared to WD? I'm still waiting on my 120gb deal from DELL, but have my doubts I will get it in time for the rebate...

I got in on a maxtor rebate recently.. it was a good experience, they have a rebate tracking page and I got it pretty quickly

Thats good to know....I think I'm gonna get in this deal if their rebate are reliable.....I've had horrible experience with rebates in the past..

Whoa, I just noticed this, it says 3 year warranty, both in the rebate pic and in the info tab. Nice, definitely since most of them are 1 year now.

Edit---
Just read the Maxtor Warrantee at a glance info, it says that if it's indicated on the retail packaging, it is a 3 year warranty instead of a 1 year
