120gb Western Digital 5400rpm for 99.99 after MIR @ Circuit City

Kudos to original poster and all the follow-ups. I picked up one at CC starting with WMA8 (only one of 4 on the shelf) - and compared the serial number to the $249 7200rpm drives (was slightly later number in sequence) and voila ---- 7200 rpm 120GB Retail WD drive for $138 before the $30 rebate. Thanks.

Humm So I went to two stores today nothing but WMAA drives so I passed on this deal. I had the guy check in the store but I didn't feel like driving 30 miles to try another store.

And just by chance on my way home I'd figure I would stop by a Office Depot (one that I don't normally goto, b/c i was kinda out of the way to get to the second CC) and they had 80gb 5400rpm drives on clearance for $70 (right next to 60gb 5400rpm drives at $90AR) also had a memorial day sale for 10% off anything then used my $20 of $50 coupon for a total of about $50 after tax.

Yeah. Cept for me - I picked up another drive today, but fuxored it - didnt look at the numbers - its a 5400. Gonna return it tomorrow for an even swap

The Gateway CC in Portland, Oregon has 5 7200 (WMA8) and 2 5400 (WMAA) hard drives!

Bought a 5400 (WMAA) for $129 - $30 MIR = $99 although I haven't opened it yet I'm 99% sure that it's a 5400.
