Question 120hz 4k TV's are a thing now. So far who here is running them?

So who is running 120hz 4k television as a monitor here? Which one, what pc/gpu, how do you like it? Optical quality good? Response time good?

Most people are likely waiting until GPUs can do 4k120 with 4:4:4.

The new AMD and Nvidia GPUs supposedly coming later this year and next year should have HDMI 2.1 which will make 4k120hz feasible.

I have one a few years old that does 4K at 60hz or 1080p at 120hz, but lacks HDMI 2.1. I plan to get the current version that does 4K at 120hz once the new video cards are out. There is some image persistence (motion blur) at 60hz that goes away at 120hz, although I have gotten used to it.

I have the display, a LG B9, and fill in card until the 30 series hits, 2060, but like others have mentioned, we don't have the outputs to really use it yet.

Slower paced games, ie- DQXI I run 4k 60Hz, anything else gets 1440p 120Hz. This display has GSync support so that helps with the fill in graphics power.

Visual quality... OLED versus LCD isn't a fight. Not really fair to compare, it crushes any LCD display so it's not a fair comparison.

Hear you guys on the waiting.. not so much personally interested in the high end screens or 4:4:4 necessarily. But either way low or high end, I can wait until next year.

I run 4k at 60Hz on an LG TV. It RULES and gives Mac users a very uneasy feeling!

Be sure to take a look at the LG CX. I had one for a day, but it was broken, so I returned it. I'm on the fence about getting a replacement now, but it really does tick all the boxes when it comes to using a tv as a monitor.
