Hi. I have a Silverstone MM01 case and got to cool an Epyc 7282 Rome CPU (120W).
I specified the case model since it's rather a special case, built for harsh environments. The PSU is top-mounted and takes all the heat generated inside the case. Furthermore, the case just has a 120mm fan mounting grid and its airflow is somewhat limited (the air intakes are HEPA-filtered).
Now, I initially thought to buy a Noctua air cooler for SP3, but on a second thought, a 120mm AIO would allow me to exhaust all the heat generated by the cpu directly outside the case. However, I am having troubles finding 120mm AIOs advertised for the SP3 socket. My question is: can I buy AIOs advertised for TR4 socket? Will they be compatible?
Furthermore, what about the long-term reliability of such AIOs?
Thanks!
