I have a side window on my Praetorian,

with two 80mm fans up front, 1 in the top, and 1 in the back it cools well but case temps were always about 5-6 degrees above room temp

I added a 120mm fan in the lower back of the window with a dremmel
did a good job if I say so myself

the fan centeres on my agp slot, so half the air roughly goes down, being sucked into my videocard and the rest goes up to the cpu area

anyway, lowered my case temp to room temp and I am able to turn all my case fans down so it is nice and quiet now

any pictures? Id like to see that! Also, how did you dremel into the plastic? Do you ahve a low rpm dremel, or did you use some circle cutting tool?

Pics for sure... the Praetorian case is sweet enough to begin with .... I'd like to see how it looks after that.

I did one on my ATC-201SX (functionally identical to the Praetorian) and found out that a 5" holesaw is not 120mm.

I'll get some piks up in a day or so

I took a basic 120mm fan grill, placed it where I wanted the fan
traced the outer grill and marked the holes

used a dremmel at full speed with a steel grooved bit that has a tip about 1/2 inch long and about 1/6 of an inch in diameter, no taper on the bit, just drilled a hole in the plexi and went around the circle

I found that slower rpm would cause more vibration

Ironman, nice work - May I suggest a clear fan, so the view of the internals isn't as obstructed?

I was planning on modding my case for this too, once I find a case that's worth cutting up. There'd be another one right next to it, blowing on the hard drives. Two 120mm's for intake, 1 120mm on exhaust, plus the 120mm in the powr supply. Don't get much quieter and cooler than that.
