I don't think I've ever actually received a Kingston ValueRAM rebate. That is a fairly common experience. And the Buy.com $10 off $30 coupon is only for new customers, so most of us won't qualify (unless we create a new account with a new eddress & perhaps credit card number, and some might question the ethics of this maneuver).

A company called Premier System is hawking 128 MB of PC133 SDRAM that they claim is CAS 2, 7.0+ ns, and is compatible with more or less all modern motherboards from socket sevens to PowerMac G4s. What's more, they offer free ground shipping. Apparently they operate out of somewhere in the EST time zone, so us Westcoastniks don't have to pay sales tax. However the company gets a mediocre to poor resellersrating, mid 3s if I recall aright. Most folks were very satisfied with their "generic" PC133, but some buyers had problems making it do CAS 2 or even 133 FSB and didn't find the company terribly responsive.

Kingston ValueRAM came with four different chips (maybe more). They are Infineon, Toshiba, IBM, Nora. Infineon and Toshiba have no problem running CL2 but IBM and Nora can't. Hope that will help. I returned my Nora one and got Infineon instead.

i have 2 pc100 kingstons in my duron 600@1g and they are kicking ass at 133-turbo settings on a kt7raid.
they wont do the mormal setting which for some unknown reason stress them more- but hey- pc 100 at 133 cas 2 are nice. especially mixed and for the price

got mine yesterday, dont know what kind of chips. sisoft sandra says that it will only do cas2 at 66mhz, booooooo!!!! will look after work and see what chips are on there and see if i can run cas2 at 100mhz, dont have my PIII yet so cant test 133mhz, sorry~
