on another note, in theory since the top graphics cards are now all AGP, wouldnt 64mb pretty much be enuff and if it really needs more it can utilize its agp abilities and dip into the system ram a little? after all ur system has 512mb of pc2100 ddr right?

Yes you're right, only that the AGP bus is many times narrower than the local memory bus. AGP4x - 1.066GB/s, Geforce 3 - 7.36GB/s, plus not much games really use AGP texture heavily.

SiS Graphic Cards are crap.. My dad sells them (heh). They are REALLY crap. They have a lot of "popular" features so it looks good on paper but performance really sucks.
