I got the *12X* Kingston blanks from Outpost. Note that these
are the 12X 80 minute blanks that are $20 for 50, not the 8X
80 minute blanks that are $15.

Anyway, here's the CD Identifier info for the *12X* blanks:

Disc Manufacturer: CMC Magnetics Corp
Dye: Phtalocyanine (Type 6)
Nominal Capacity 702.83Mb (79m 59s 74f)

General concensus is that the Phtalocyanine dye is the best, so
it appears that the 12X CDR blanks may actually be WORTH more than
the 8X ones (identified in an earlier message in this thread).

Great deal, but even the Fleabay morons aren't paying out the a## for these like they usually do. These spindles are only going for ~ $15 - $20 over there. Picked up one for myself tho.

bonkers, you are nuts buying all those CDRs for resell. Before I start getting pissed off, please explain why you would want to buy up all the cheap CDRs available courtesy of outpost.com so that us folks here wont be able to get cheap cdr's? If you like buying resell you should look into buying stuff directly from the distributers/wholesalers. That way you wont dry up the stock of the retailers (aka Outpost.com) and consequently dry up our source of cheap cdrs.

Hey Kwad Guy, where did you see that info about the dye? I just clicked on the 12x cdr (1:52pm on tuesday) and it says:
