You can play golf professionally and competitively into your 60's whereas many NBA players are all done in 5-7yrs

yeah...and it's probably spring break for her also...


i'm an avid golf fan..playing golf from time to time.....i saw tiger play @ the buick open.......but of course my fav player of all time is fred couples (sweetest swing and he has the best impact to the ball)...

anyways...remember when tiger was like 14? 15? or something and he played on the LA open........there was another interview of her and she says she can't wait 'till she plays high school golf...wtf! w/ that talent, she'll be the number 1 high school player and put every high school player to shame....freakin...

and for the 300 yrd thing....i used to hit the ball 320 yards....and i'm only 5'8''.......it's all about technique....i had this crazy wrist snapping action (very dangerous..i cracked my wrist doing it one time, and thus, i couldn't play golf for awhile, and my whole swing is different...practically ruined my golfing career aha....whatever career it was... )...but of course, she's 4 inches taller than me...155...shiet...

First, she said she plans on attending college instead of going pro. I respect her for that. Second, the lifespan of a golfer is much longer in terms of playing time than a basketball player. The chances of a career ending injury in golf are MUCH less than in basketball. Third, many times, those that want in the NBA plan to do it at a very young age, and neglict other areas of their life, banking on that one aspect. When it fails, their life was a waste. The sheer number of people that think like that are what make it disturbing.

your not helping your argument. the fact that one is LESS likely in golf to have career ending injury is MORE reason to encourage them to wait.

but it's apples and oranges too. golf is not physical contact sport. golf is about perfection of ones own game. what everyone else does isn't that important. so juniors and amatuers have always had spots on pro tournaments.
