Also an excellent deal! Can't believe that beast is at $100 already! The 500gb drive is nice if you need to store a lot of data - I do video editing, so the more the better! I've read that the 500gb 5400rpm is as fast as some of the older 7200rpm drives thanks to improved efficiency. But if you've got the need for speed, the 320gb 7200rpm drive is definitely the way to go!

Good thread about the scorpio. It made me look around a bit and the scorpio with fallsensor is $10 less here and no tax at least in some areas where newegg charges

Woot! Ordered, and did the combo deal for the (probably cheap-o) 2.5" enclosure for an extra $3, solves my problem of how to transfer systems without reinstalling
