This is a Tahiti LE card, 7950 is Tahiti Pro, 7970 is Tahiti XT. Pretty much this is a rejected 7950/7970 card but with 2GBs and 256 bit bus instead of 3GBs and 384 bit bus. It performs closer to the 7950 than the 7870 Ghz edition.
32 Rops, 1,280 Shaders, 1000 Base mhz Clock, no Boost Clock, 153.6 GB/s Bandwidth 7870 Ghz edition
32 Rops, 1,536 Shaders, 925 Base mhz Clock, 975 mhz Boost Clock, 192 GB/s Bandwidth 7870 XT the card we are talking about in the newegg link
32 Rops, 1,792 Shaders, 850 Base mhz Clock, 925 mhz Boost Clock, 240 GB/s Bandwidth 7950 Boost
Thus if the card can sustain its boost indefinitely than the 7950 boost edition has 11% more shader power than the 7870 xt. The 7870 xt has 17% more shader power than the 7870 ghz edition.
