14" laptop, Intel HD graphics, ~$900 budget

Looking to replace an aging Latitude D620--that's a business-class Dell. i might actually go for a consumer notebook this time due to low budget (~$900).

- i3 or i5 processor
- 14" or, perhaps, a light 15". Matte >> glossy (but willing to compromise here); would slightly prefer 16:9 over 16:10; resolution bigger than 768p would be a plus (but isn't required).
- integrated graphics
- Gigabit ethernet
- Intel wireless (or wireless card from other manufacturer that works flawlessly with Linux)
- good screen quality (hehe), decent keyboard, decent built quality would all be pluses
- HDD size and optical drive are unimportant

thoughts? suggestions?

do you want/need a dvd drive? If not, it might be worth it to go down to 13.3" screen. it'll be the same resolution as most 14" (though some 14" can be had with very high resolution)

i don't need a dvd drive indeed. which makes this a good idea. will start looking into 13.3" laptops

I also like the suggestion. If I cannot find an Arrandale laptop I like, will probably order a E6400 or E6500 from the Dell outlet.
