Where are all the ones who say "there is no police state" in this thread? They conveniently don't show up or pass off a BS one liner and run away. Cowards.
Evidently you didn't think it was funny cause you responded.
Yes, of course. The people who actually blow up our buildings, kill our innocent civilians with glee, and would love to cut your head off aren't the real enemy. The REAL enemy comes from within, despite the fact that you have the slimmest and most contentious of "proof" to back up that sort of claim.Do you know how many decades people have been making this very same claim? Each new generation swears we are becoming a police state. Each new generation has been wrong. You have about a %99.9999 chance of being wrong too unless something changes drastically. We are not in a police state and posting police in riot gear in the subway is not a sign of one happening. Sorry to burst your rhetorical and fearmongering bubble but that's the way it is.
So Mr. Circular argument himself is making a statement. Well I'm sure no matter what I say you will twist and turn it like so many times in the past with many other people in many other threads. Why do you even bother to post?
You want to talk about "fearmongering" of others but disregard that very tactic used by government officials to remove rights (Patriot Act), create paranoia so they may put officers in full black armor with automatic machine guns on streets. The government is answerable to the people, not the other way around. We (citizens) are not the enemy but it is being shown to us every day that the government does not trust its own people. REAL ID and RFID passports, fingerprinting at traffic stops and any and all cataloging of who or what citizens do is NONE of the governments business. We are not cattle, we do not need to be "checked in" or "checked out" by a tyrannical and very scared government. Changing the definition of "terrorist" to include the most basic of misdemeanors, removing habeas corpus, jesus I could go on forever. Much if not all of this has happened in a few short years. Go do some research on how fascist countries rise, what they do to gain power and influence. Then you may see the same signs as we do. But you won't, you'll come back with some bullshit argument, pounding some ignorant talking point government protection crap. Go look at how democracies fell and how they became fascist police states. If we were a Republic as we were founded, this ignorance of yours wouldn't matter. Maybe you should study the differences in a Republic and a Democracy as well.
Take this  and stick it up your ass, your response will be just as entertaining.

Then you have no reason to speak on what way or if this country is moving toward a police state.
